London, Greater London, United Kingdom University College London Hospitals Full time

Job Overview

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Programme Manager to lead the technical aspects of implementing an extension of our Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR).

The collaboration between UCLH and RNOH will start in September, with RNOH utilising UCLH's expertise in designing, implementing, and using Epic since March 2019.

Epic will be rolled out at RNOH in November 2025, replacing paper records and many current clinical systems with a single, fully integrated clinical record. This means staff can access complete, accurate, and up-to-date information to ensure the best care for patients.

To achieve delivery of this programme, we are looking for a passionate individual to work as the RNOH Connect Technical Manager within the DHCT Solutions section.

This role will manage the overall delivery of the technical aspects of the RNOH Connect programme, including understanding and designing all required technology for this specific Epic solution. Ensuring that technology meets requirements captured from both Epic and RNOH will be key. The successful candidate will have previous experience delivering technical aspects of an Epic implementation, a good general understanding of Digital Healthcare, and familiarity with current technical infrastructure, integration platforms, and project planning and delivery.

Main Duties of the Job

  • To deliver the technical aspects of the RNOH Connect programme, including understanding and designing all required technology for this specific Epic solution.
  • To ensure that technology meets requirements captured from both Epic and RNOH.
  • To have previous experience delivering technical aspects of an Epic implementation.
  • To have a good general understanding of Digital Healthcare.
  • To be familiar with current technical infrastructure, integration platforms, and project planning and delivery.
