Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Quality Control Scientist to join our team at Oxford Global Resources. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing, contamination assessments, and physical examinations of bottled and plated products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microbiological testing in compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 13485/9001 Quality Management Systems and Quality Policies.
  • Report any non-conforming results to the QC Team Leader or Quality Manager.
  • Adhere strictly to established laboratory procedures when performing tests, ensuring compliance with UKAS and other regulatory standards.
  • Accurately sample, test, and report on the quality control of plated and bottled samples submitted to the laboratory, ensuring timely and precise results.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Microbiology or a related field.
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time, onsite position located in East Scotland.
  • The role is a 3-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.
