The Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Manager to join our team and lead the development and implementation of our Environmental and Sustainability strategy for the Sizewell C project. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile project that will make a significant contribution to the UK's clean energy future.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Implement and guide the Environmental and Sustainability strategy for Sizewell C.
* Provide expert advice to project teams, including the Delivery Leadership Team and subcontractors.
* Manage sustainability and environmental risks, consulting with clients, stakeholders, and regulators as needed.
* Conduct environmental and sustainability inspections and audits, promoting continuous improvement.
* Develop and coach Environmental and Sustainability advisors.
* Drive sustainability action plans using data from assessments and audits.
* Ensure lessons learned from incidents and audits are communicated and implemented effectively.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Promote innovative environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements
We are looking for an individual with:
* Proven experience in the infrastructure industry in an environmental and/or sustainability role.
* Strong leadership skills and experience in leading a team.
* Commercial awareness and cost estimation experience.
* A degree in a relevant field.
* High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate in diverse environments.
* Proven ability to influence environmental and sustainability practices within projects.
* Organizational skills and experience in implementing ISO 14001.

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
