Nursery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to join our team at Nursery People in Brentford, London.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our nursery, providing exceptional care and education for children, and effectively managing daily operations.

Our nursery is a short walk from the overland station and is served well by local bus routes. We have excellent facilities, including outdoor space and offer a range of extra-curricular activities, such as languages and music. Our nursery is designed to cater to the individual needs of children, with separate areas for babies, toddlers, and preschool children.

We offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays), your birthday off, professional development, well-being services, team events, and celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop strong relationships with parents and the local community
  2. Create engaging experiences tailored to children's age and stage of development
  3. Oversee the maintenance of records and child learning journals
  4. Foster a welcoming environment and promote a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice
  5. Provide regular training on safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management
  6. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including Ofsted, EYFS, Child Protection, Health & Safety, and GDPR
Requirements:
  1. A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare, preferably with Management and Leadership qualifications
  2. Previous experience of a management role within a nursery setting
  3. Good knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
  4. Experience of training and developing an early years learning team
