Job Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated Applications Co-Ordinator to join our team in Pontefract on a full-time, permanent basis. As a specialist in property, we provide growth and development for independent property Estate and Letting Agents, and we continue to be a local, trusted, and recommended Estate Agent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and resolving maintenance issues by urgency and importance.
  • Maintaining high standards of communication with landlords and tenants.
  • Conducting and analysing Property inspection reports and liaising with the landlord, providing relevant advice.
  • Booking checkouts, analysing reports, and processing documentation in line with company processes.
  • Managing end-of-tenancy returns for a managed client portfolio and negotiating dilapidation compensation for landlords.
  • Checking invoices received against works orders and arranging payment to contractors.
  • Managing tenancy renewals for landlords and tenants, monitoring rent arrears, and chasing payments.
  • Preparing and serving legal notices.
  • Handling deposit returns.

We are looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good personal presentation and conduct.
  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Good general administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the internal network and with customers.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
