About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Refresco Bridgwater. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facility, which includes 27 production lines running 24/7.

Your primary focus will be on delivering a high-quality engineering service, rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults. You will work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to complete a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality engineering service to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
  • Rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults
  • Complete a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to achieve site efficiency and performance standards
About You

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-skilled engineering background. You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, but we will consider candidates from other backgrounds.

Key Requirements:

  • L3 engineering qualification or time served
  • Multi-skilled background - either biased
  • Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment
  • Fault finding in panels, sensors, relays, inverters, drives, motors, pumps, pneumatics, and pipework
