NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. As a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP Adult), you will be working with adults experiencing mental health issues, including anxiety and depression disorders.
This role involves providing psychological therapies, managing a caseload, and collaborating with clinical psychology colleagues and other mental health professionals to deliver a comprehensive psychology service to patients.
To excel in this position, you must have a relevant degree in psychology, eligible for GBR, and a post-graduate Master's level degree in Psychological Therapy. Additionally, you should have relevant clinical experience, awareness of your competence boundaries, and the ability to work sensitively with diverse individuals.
With a strong commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development, you will also need to maintain a driving licence and adhere to NHS Scotland's policies on lone worker guidelines, computer training, moving and handling, and management of aggression and violence.
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
