About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Masterplanning Officer to join our team at Urban Design Group. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a crucial role in driving forward the preparation of the Bold Forest Garden Village Masterplan Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management and excellent organisation skills to deliver high-quality masterplans
  • Collaborative working with colleagues and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and liaison
  • Liaising with members of the public to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded
  • Knowledge of current planning legislation, guidance, and procedures to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information to various audiences
Requirements
  • Experience in a town planning team or related environment
  • Knowledge of strategic site delivery and urban design principles
  • Proficient IT skills to manage and analyze data
  • Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and as part of a team
