Workshop Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our client, a leading organization in the Public Sector, providing innovative fleet management services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mechanical repairs and general engineering skills in a busy heavy or light vehicle workshop.
- Manage workloads independently and accurately diagnose vehicle computer systems, following a "right first time" ethos.
- Maintain a safe working environment and communicate with colleagues to ensure efficient workshop operations.
- City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Mechanics qualification or equivalent, including LGV/Light Mechanic qualification and IRTEC Qualification.
- Experience in computerized diagnostic equipment and managing mixed fleet light and heavy vehicles.
- High standard of general engineering abilities, including mechanical repairs, basic welding skills, and hydraulic knowledge.
- Flexible work available with regular overtime opportunities and a flexible shift pattern.
