About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Solicitor at Legal Director level to join our team in the East Midlands region. As a key member of our Corporate and Commercial group, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of corporate work, working closely with clients to provide fast, pragmatic, and commercial advice, and developing relationships with current clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a diverse portfolio of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and company formations.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on corporate law matters, including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and employee ownership.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the business.
  • Supervise and mentor junior fee earners, delegating tasks and providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience working in corporate law.
  • Proven ability to generate new business in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ambition, leadership capability, and vision to work as a team to grow the business.
