Finance and Business Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Business Manager to join our team at Muircroft Housing Association. As a key member of our small team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and good governance of the Association.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Association's financial records, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Board and Finance Committee.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the Association's financial sustainability.
  • Lead on finance business continuity planning and ensure all processes are documented and software accessible.
  • Assist with the collection and collation of tenant satisfaction surveys.
  • Support the management and review of all policies to ensure compliance in good fiscal governance.
  • Proactively identify and assist with the implementation of process, software, and reporting improvements across the Association.

Requirements:

  • Qualified (AAT or equivalent) and educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and skilled in the use of a variety of software packages.
  • Excellent organisational ability, comfortable with changing priorities to suit business need, able to balance work flows and demands.
  • Flexible hybrid approach to work, balancing the need for 'presence' and quiet time.
