Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric services to patients in the community.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that promote recovery and improve patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent qualification.
  • General Medical Qualification (e.g. MBBS, or equivalent) and a Licence to Practise.
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician approval or ability to obtain approval before starting post.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in community mental health services.
  • Postgraduate qualification in medical education, clinical research, or management.
