Disrepair Expert Surveyor

MMP Consultancy requires a highly skilled Disrepair Expert Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying disrepair, and completing investigative reports. This role offers a competitive salary of £48,065.00 per annum, plus benefits.

The Disrepair Expert Surveyor will work closely with our Dedicated Loans Officer (DLO) to specify works and manage contractors. They will produce high-quality reports on each property, which will be used by our solicitors in court.

This role involves supporting our Response Surveyors team by conducting comprehensive investigations, providing guidance to team members, and handling complaints.

The Disrepair Expert Surveyor will require a strong working knowledge of Disrepair legislation, the Landlord Tenancy Act 1985, Homes for Habitation, and HHSRS assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect properties to identify disrepair.
  2. Complete investigative reports.
  3. Specify works for contractors.
  4. Manage contractors to ensure timely completion.
  5. Produce high-quality reports for solicitors.

Salary: £48,065.00 per annum, plus benefits
