Year 2 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Pinner. As a proactive and emotionally intelligent educator, you will play a key role in promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment for our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral care and support to children in their first steps in Key Stage 1, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Teach the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and improvement.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry, ensuring a solid foundation for future success.
  • Help children develop their writing skills by creating engaging stories, characters, and settings.
  • Monitor progress and report back to parents, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
