Nights Distribution Shift Manager

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Shift Manager to join our Transport Team at Fresh Direct in Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our 70 driver colleagues and a small team of administrators on the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Transport Manager in leading the Transport Team
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies
  • Manage the fleet and workforce to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
  • Act as a customer-facing representative, resolving issues and maintaining our reliable reputation
  • Lead by example, setting and maintaining standards in service, health, safety, and compliance
Requirements:
  • Management CPC desirable
  • Strong understanding of transport compliance and regulations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
