Job Title: Java Lead Solutions Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Solutions Architect to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance software architectures using Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Oversee project teams, including Java developers, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with product management, QA, and operations teams to deliver software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement RESTful web services using JSON, XML, and other relevant technologies.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software systems.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Java development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership/architect role.
  • Extensive experience with Java and J2EE technologies, including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and EJB.
  • Proficiency in popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot.
  • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
