We are seeking a highly skilled Haematology Consultant to join our esteemed team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading teaching hospital, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with patients with acute porphyria as part of a nationally commissioned highly specialised service.

This is a challenging role that requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients.

The key duties of this role include conducting outpatient clinics, providing telephone/email advice, reviewing inpatients, teaching medical/nursing staff, and participating in research projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in haematology, be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities, and possess excellent communication skills.

Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching trusts, offering a wide range of services across South East London and Kent. Our teams are nationally and internationally recognized for their work in various specialties, including liver disease, neurosciences, cardiac, and haemato-oncology.

The salary for this position is approximately £115,000 - £150,000 per annum, excluding London Zone Allowance. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

To be considered for this role, you must have relevant qualifications, including FRCPath or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, and a PhD or MD (obtained or in progress). You must also be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by date of interview.
