About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas of the hospital are clean and tidy, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery, including carpet cleaners and other specialized equipment.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
