We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality in our care homes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our residents
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining accurate records and inventory management
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless meal service and resident satisfaction
- NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation (or willingness to study for one)
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of food quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Competitive hourly rate (subject to experience and qualifications)
