The Manager, Financial Reporting and Control will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, including Statutory Reporting and Annual Report, Financial Statements, new product and IFRS treatment, Audit liaison, and P&L. This role offers substantial responsibility in managing 3x direct reports, providing an opportunity to facilitate the seamless functioning of financial services and operations in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise financial processes and operations within the department
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies
  • Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Act as a point of contact for financial and operational queries
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the company

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA/CPA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Banking industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
