Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV Class 2 dust carts/recycling trucks, collecting waste and recycling from domestic properties in the local area.
  • Work in a team, helping loaders collect waste while the vehicle is not in transit.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Work in all weather conditions.
  • Use a tablet to mark down all collections (missed, completed, and queried).
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, while maintaining an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Work to deadlines to manage on-road routes in order to achieve time-sensitive deliveries.
  • Perform daily vehicle walk-round checks and accurate defect reporting, and comply with on-site health and safety requirements of third parties.

Requirements:

  • A valid HGV (C) UK Driving Licence
  • A valid UK Driver CPC Card
  • A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
