Pertemps Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Waste Management Driver. This role involves operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle, collecting waste and ensuring timely completion of collections.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in driving large vehicles and hold a valid UK driving license with C1 category. The role requires manual handling and assisting with lifting and moving heavy objects, so physical fitness is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, collecting waste and adhering to designated routes and schedules.
- Assist the cleansing crew with loading, unloading, and managing waste when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following health and safety procedures.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive salary of £14.81 per hour, rising to £14 per hour after 4 weeks. If you are a committed driver who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment, we would love to hear from you.
