Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Van Driver/Courier to join our team of self-employed multi-drop drivers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely delivering parcels on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Drive safely within the law at all times, adhering to speed limits and respecting other road users.
  • Conduct vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in roadworthy condition and record/report any issues found.
  • Have due regard for safety, security, and parcel care during loading, unloading, and delivery processes.
  • Record your driving daily duties, updating required logs with hours, fuel, and mileage.
  • Exhibit a consistent standard of safe and fuel-efficient driving ability and continual awareness.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Highway Code.
  • Follow pre-planned client routes.
  • Park the vehicle legally and securely at all times as required.
  • Ensure all goods are accounted for and scanned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year driving experience for insurance purposes.
  • Full UK or EU driving license.
  • Less than 6 points on license.
  • No DR10 or IN10 endorsements.
  • DBS check will be completed.
  • Drug & Alcohol test will be completed on induction day.
  • Previous delivery driver experience.
