Procurement Manager (IT) Job Description

Location: Derby/Hybrid

Salary & Package: £45,000 - £50,000 + bonus + free travel + additional benefits

Sea Global is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join their fast-paced procurement function, focusing on the IT categories. The ideal candidate will have experience across IT categories such as Hardware, Software, Telecoms, or Professional Services.

The successful candidate will work in a strong team environment, collaborating with colleagues to drive procurement excellence. Experience within the indirect and IT categories is highly valuable for this role, as is exposure to Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR) or Public Contract Regulations (PCR).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT categories, including Hardware, Software, Telecoms, and Professional Services
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, including Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR) and Public Contract Regulations (PCR)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the IT category
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, including Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR) and Public Contract Regulations (PCR)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
