Regulatory Governance Role in Asset and Wealth Management

At Goldman Sachs, we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Governance Associate to join our Asset and Wealth Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us navigate the complex regulatory landscape and ensure that our business practices are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

About the Role

The Regulatory Governance Associate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting regulatory requirements, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and developing and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks. You will work closely with our business teams, legal and compliance departments, and other stakeholders to ensure that our regulatory obligations are met and that our business practices are aligned with our regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate regulatory risks
  • Work closely with business teams, legal and compliance departments, and other stakeholders to ensure regulatory obligations are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement regulatory solutions
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support to business teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years' relevant experience in a comparable role
  • Understanding of asset management products, wealth management investment platforms, and wider operational platforms/ecosystems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to provide creative and innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of owning, designing, and executing solutions for complex problems
