About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our new store in Carlisle, joining our team at SCS Sofas. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, leading and developing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Team Development: Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve targets and provide a first-class customer experience.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performance Management: Review and manage team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety policies and legislation, ensuring a safe working environment for employees and customers.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and developing a team in a sales-driven environment.
  • Customer Focus: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a customer-centric approach.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as required.
