We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality bakery products, and we are seeking an experienced Bakery Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Investigate any food safety, quality or legality issues that may arise, and communicate your findings to management.
  • Develop and implement QA procedures to ensure compliance with required standards.
  • Manage our Olympus Auto verification system and provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Provide guidance and training to Quality Assurance Technicians, and cover their tasks during absence.
  • Ensure compliance with all department and company policies and guidelines.


Requirements:
  • Minimum two-year experience in food industry production or QA or Technical role.
  • Fluent English language.
  • Food Safety qualification at Level 2 or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, outlook, word, excel, powerpoint etc.
  • Food industry high care experience.
  • Higher education qualification, ideally in Food Quality / Food Safety/ Science related area.
  • Foundation level or higher in HACCP.
  • Internal auditor formal training.


Benefits:
  • Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Annual Leave: 30 days inclusive of Bank Holidays.
  • Life Assurance Benefit: 4x salary.
  • Overtime Rates: Competitive.
