Manufacturing Technician

**Job Summary:**

Blue Arrow is currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Dingwall. As a key member of the production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

• Set up and operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Feed raw materials into production machinery.
• Assemble goods on the production line.
• Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Inspect products for quality and remove defective items.
• Pack finished products and prepare them for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Record and report production data, including downtime, output, and any issues.
• Assist in the training of new staff members.
• Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Production Operative or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of production machinery and quality control procedures.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Basic math and recording abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preliminary pay rate starts at £12.90/hour with potential for increase to £13.40/hour following training.
  • Guaranteed full-time hours of 35 per week.
  • Free travel from Inverness is provided.
