Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical and Electrical Sector

AGM Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Mechanical and Electrical sector. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the financial aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for mechanical and electrical projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing any variances or issues.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate and finalize contract terms and pricing.
  • Evaluate and assess contract documents, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Assist in the procurement process, including the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the mechanical and electrical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
