Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate registered vet nurse to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week, with a variety of shifts to cover our operating hours of 8am-7:30pm Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to our veterinary surgeons and other nursing staff.
  • Assist with surgical procedures, taking X-rays, and performing routine medical checks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear information and advice on animal care and welfare.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in veterinary nursing, with experience working in a small animal practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to patient care and animal welfare.
