Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations. This role involves delivering bread products to various locations, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bread products to various locations
  • Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Requirements
  • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Minimum of six months experience driving Class 2 vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Ability to speak and read a good level of English
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
  • Experience driving commercial vehicles
  • Previous experience of multidrop deliveries
Training

Driving assessment will need to be completed before starting this role.
