As a Civil Engineer in our client's expanding team, you'll collaborate with various disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, building services, and more, contributing to prestigious projects with values reaching several hundred million pounds.

About the Role

You'll assist in delivering various civil engineering services under the guidance of Senior Civil Engineers and Associate Engineers, gaining support to work toward chartership.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist with project delivery and develop flood risk assessments (FRAs) and drainage strategies.
  2. Design highways, earthworks, and drainage systems, creating civil engineering drawings and layouts.
  3. Prepare design calculations, specifications, and reports, participating in technical issue resolution and problem-solving.
  4. Collaborate effectively with Ridge teams and clients to ensure project success.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng).
  2. Relevant experience in a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  4. Knowledge of InfoDrainage (desirable).
  5. Understanding of Highway and Drainage section agreements (38, 278, and 104).
