Aerospace Quality Engineer Opportunity

Estimated salary: $39,000 per year.

We are a leading manufacturer of aircraft landing gear, and we are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our medium landing gear quality team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.

About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for working closely with our manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and for coaching and developing team members in technical and quality matters.
  • As an Aerospace Quality Engineer, you will provide expert advice and support to internal and external customers and suppliers, and will be responsible for providing input regarding manufacturing quality and technical issues to Manufacturing Engineering strategy.
  • You will also be responsible for raising and authorizing extra work on layouts, SAP, and MES, and for ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles including methods, processes, production control, plant, and tooling based on a lean enterprise approach.
  • Ability to gain knowledge of Aerospace Quality systems to a level that enables holding a QT stamp.
