Job Description

This role will include undertaking pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract surgery patients, overseeing glaucoma care as part of a virtual ophthalmology-led service, and providing clinical support to ophthalmologists in general and oculoplastic clinics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in optometry.
  • Keenness to undertake higher qualifications in glaucoma.
  • Passion for delivering excellent patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
