About the Role

Riverview Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facilities.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to provide a building fabric maintenance and repair service. The ideal candidate will have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the building services sector, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems, including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and patch repairs.
  • Ensure all preventative maintenance is completed to the required standards.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver building fabric services, including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and patch repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Electrical qualification (e.g. 18th edition)
  • Experience in facilities or mobile maintenance within the building services sector
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality maintenance services
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain accurate records
What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual salary of £33,000, additional training, and a range of benefits, including pension, life assurance, employee shares schemes, reward programme, and employee assistance programme.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with on-call cover during weekends and evenings (two in six). Rolling 2 weeks; 06:00 - 14:30, 08:00 - 16:30, and 09:30 - 18:00.
