Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Avionic Instructor to join our team at the Ministry of Defence. As an Avionic Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to RAF Aircraft Electronic/Electrical Apprentices and existing RAF aeronautical engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver classroom and practical instruction on topics within the aircraft discipline and various allied subjects.
  • Develop and deliver training objectives that will prepare students for the next step of their career path.
  • Build course-specific training programs and prepare teaching plans, identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop or oversee the production of classroom hand-outs, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualification - Aeronautical Engineering (AE) Avionic/Electrical or Electronic/Electrical.
  • Cert Ed or equivalent ( Defence Train the Trainer courses are available for non-qualified trainers).
