Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Specialist. As a Psychology Graduate Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with class teachers and experienced staff members to educate pupils and manage challenging behaviors.
- Work one-on-one with students to ensure they are on task and identify potential triggers for their trauma and mental health needs.
- Facilitate various therapeutic techniques and employ restorative practices to promote mental well-being.
- Work alongside Psychologists and Therapists to provide comprehensive support to students.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Psychology or Criminology.
- Experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs.
- Proactive and friendly approach with a passion for mental health.
