About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Manager to join our team at Camp Beaumont. As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our multi-activity day camp, ensuring the well-being and safety of our young camp members, and leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the camp, including staff supervision, program planning, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all camp members, including the implementation of emergency procedures and first aid protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and other departments to ensure seamless camp operations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and inclusive camp experience.
Requirements
  • Over 18 years old.
  • Available to work during school holidays.
  • UK/EU citizen with the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team.
  • Possess bags of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Passionate about working with children.
  • High level of safeguarding awareness.
  • Paediatric first aid is desirable or this is offered as part of our training.
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification is essential.
