We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetics Practitioner / Nurse to join our team at Appoint Group. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our operating theatres.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare operating theatres and anaesthetic rooms for surgery
- Prepare instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for procedures
- Work across a range of operative procedures, including orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery
- Ensure waste is minimized and theatre lists are run efficiently
- Supervise and train junior members of staff
- NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Registered Nurse with Anaesthetics module
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 1 year Anaesthetics experience in the UK
- Experience in orthopaedics is essential
- Recovery experience is desirable
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Passion for high-quality care and excellent communication skills
