We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Consultant to join our dynamic General Medicine service within the Health Board. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patients presenting to Withybush General Hospital with medical problems
- Lead a team of junior doctors in the General Medical Department and Care of the Elderly
- Work across Acute and Community COTE Medicine
- Contribute to a current on-call rota at Withybush based on a 1:12 non-resident on-call
- On Specialist Register with GMC or CCT due within 6 months of interview date
- Or CESR or equivalent European
- Broad-based experience in Acute General or Care of the Elderly Medicine
- Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent)
- Knowledge and participation in CPD
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment
- Chance to develop and maintain a specialist interest
- Support for training and education, including a Consultant Development & Mentoring scheme
