Job Description

Spinwell is seeking a highly skilled QHSE Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization delivers the maintenance of the company's QHSE Management System, associated documentation, and quality of a wide range of product types to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify that all product specifications have been met during the product realization process.
  • Analyze and report quality statistics to all levels, both internal and external.
  • Assist in the implementation of various improvement activities.
  • Conduct internal process and system audits with action follow-up and progression to closure.
  • Identify, investigate, and dispose of non-conforming material through the Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) process.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis, identify corrective and preventative measures, and monitor effectiveness.
  • Monitor supplier performance in relation to non-conforming product with regular internal/external communications, reviews, and follow-up.
  • Participate in supplier QBRs (or similar) with the production of supporting Quality data to aid the monitoring and measurement of supply chain.
  • Process customer concerns through the Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR/8D) process to completion.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders regarding the processing, evaluation, and reporting on customer returns.
  • Support and advise on product queries.
  • Perform Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) as required.
  • Support onsite QHSE and IPC610 training activities.
  • Assist in the production of System Management documentation and reviews.
  • Report QHSE Metrics/KPIs.
  • Support NPI, product development, and first-off process approval.
  • Manage calibration and control, including liaising with external providers.
  • Generate and progress action plans to closure within a timely manner.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in an Engineering/Quality related discipline.
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001).
  • Ability to conduct audits on Business systems and processes to meet ISO standards.
  • Ability to prepare, analyze, and report quality statistics to all levels, both internal and external.
  • NEBOSH qualification advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of quality improvement programs and IPC electronic assembly knowledge advantageous.
  • Understanding of electronics or proven electronics experience.
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good MRP knowledge (e.g., Javelin, SAP, BaaN).
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
