About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Southgates Chartered Certified Accountants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accountancy practice, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a portfolio of clients with a range of accounting services, including financial statement preparation, tax returns, and ad-hoc financial reports.
  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, addressing queries promptly and providing excellent customer service.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and support as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to work.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in accountancy practice, with at least three years' experience.
