About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of SCADA, network, and cyber security solutions for our deliveries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and technical solutions for SCADA, network, and cyber security solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and guidelines for our partners.
  • Ensure that our solutions meet industry best practices and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure successful project delivery.

Your Background

  • 5+ years of experience in SCADA, networking, and cyber security, with a strong background in engineering and commissioning activities.
  • Experience with Hitachi's product portfolio, but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Experience with network equipment, redundant network designs, and protocols.
  • Experience with Microsoft client- and server operating systems, Active Directory, and databases.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation technologies.
  • Experience with port-, vulnerability-, and malware scanners.
  • Bachelor of Engineering, M.Sc. in Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant area.
