We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at MB Connected, a dynamic pharmaceutical group based near Plymouth. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working arrangements.
About the ClientOur client is a privately owned pharmaceutical group that has grown through acquisition and developed new products for consumer use. They have a strong internal culture that has enabled them to thrive and push the boundaries of medical development and customer service.
About the JobThis position has arisen due to a long-standing team member retiring and offers significant opportunities for career progression and involvement in exciting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts, and process improvement. They will work closely with two Financial Controllers to provide detailed reporting and analysis of accounts and create best accounting practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and produce monthly management accounts.
- Complete payroll for key staff.
- Manage VAT returns.
- Participate in project work.
- Perform ad hoc additional duties as required.
The ideal candidate will be a finalist or QBE Management Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with experience in producing accounts, budgeting, and forecasting. They should be ambitious and eager for an opportunity that offers progression and personal growth. Our client seeks a hands-on professional who can collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders in a senior capacity.
Requirements- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA finalist / QBE.
- Previous experience working with multiple entities.
- Proven experience in creating full management accounts within a group function.
- Payroll exposure.
This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience, with excellent prospects for career advancement. The culture is second to none, and you'd have the opportunity to work alongside two great Financial Controllers.
