About the Role:

Example Recruitment is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client's dynamic construction group. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in securing new projects and overseeing the bid process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage current and future tenders, collaborating with the in-house Operations Team and subcontractors.
  • Price tenders using a combination of subcontractors and the direct labor pool.
  • Prepare tender handover packs for the Operational and Commercial delivery teams.
  • Assist in maximizing project profitability.
  • Experience pricing projects ranging from £500k to £5m.
  • Proficiency in package analysis following initial tender inquiries to ensure no scope gap.
  • Thorough understanding of standard forms of contract, including JCT and NEC.
  • Proficiency with IT, including Microsoft Office and estimating packages/tools.
  • Capacity to manage a high workload volume with a flexible approach.

What We Offer:

  • Base salary ranging between £80,000 to £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Fuel card for business travel.
