Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician

Job Summary:
Sprint Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining HGV vehicles and a strong understanding of diagnostic systems. The role will involve working on a range of vehicles, from light commercial to HGV vehicles and RCVs, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure vehicles are maintained above the minimum standards required by the DVSA between scheduled service/inspection dates to support existing third-party servicing arrangements.
* Provide standby and out of hours callout cover when required
* Ensure vehicle chassis and associated vehicle auxiliary engine are maintained in line with the service planner and company policies
* Have the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles from light commercial to HGV vehicles and RCV's
* Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times

Requirements:
* Experienced mechanic (Level 2 plus qualified desirable)
* Be familiar with diagnostic systems
* Have knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics, Municipal vehicles, construction vehicles and HGV or similar
* Have knowledge of HGV chassis manufacturers and specialist equipment mounted on vehicles (desirable)
* Hold a Category C / Class 2 driving licence is desirable
