Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Coordinator Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Project Coordinator to join our Enterprise Services division at Sudlows.

The successful candidate will assist in the overall operational delivery of projects, ensuring Health and Safety, technical, commercial, and managerial requirements are met from pre-commencement to practical completion. This includes providing high-quality customer service and interfacing with relevant support functions allocated to the project.

  • Assist the Project Manager in key tasks associated with project sites, including managing contractor resource, performance, reporting, and site handover documentation.
  • Provide technical knowledge to the site-based project team to ensure correct planning of the project, hardware, materials, and resources meet required standards.
  • Report any out-of-scope works back to the Project Manager to capture additional works and charge them back to the customer.
  • Ensure delivery of necessary Handover Packs and QA these to ensure quality.
  • Work with the PM to ensure necessary resources are available to deliver projects.
  • Supervise contractor first-to-final-fix installation teams, ensuring project-specific quality or technical standards are understood.
  • Verify at relevant project stages ('sign-off') that these standards have been achieved (or trigger remedial action required).

Requirements:

  1. SMSTS qualification
  2. ECS card
  3. First aid 3-day certification (preferable)
  4. Asbestos awareness (preferable)
  5. Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation works
  6. C&G 2391 testing (desirable)
  7. Ability to work with and coordinate other trades
  8. Driving Licence
  9. Detailed knowledge of construction site and methods, tools, and materials
  10. Excellent oral and written communication skills essential for team-based working
  11. Excellent planning and organization skills required for fast-paced environment
  12. Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
