Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Recruit Select Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drainage systems for both commercial and domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to assess drainage and water flow requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Repair and maintain drainage systems, including pipes, gutters, manholes, and underground systems, utilizing a range of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and diagnose potential issues, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Clear blockages, repair leaks, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Operate tankers and pumps for drainage solutions and surface/foul water management, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including plastic, concrete, and metal pipes, to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and materials, maintaining a safe and efficient transportation process.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance on all projects, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of drainage systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Proficiency in using drainage and plumbing tools and equipment, including CCTV drain surveys and jetting machines.
  • Experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
  • Valid driving license with experience operating commercial vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
