An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled engineer to join CV Library's client, an automotive manufacturer based in Cambridgeshire, as a Performance Systems Integration Engineer.

About the Role:

This 12-month contract will involve researching and testing the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes.

You will be responsible for reviewing sampling procedures and designs, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

  • Supervise programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical guidance on quality control engineering principles, including design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.
  2. Lead teams in implementing quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
  3. Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • Proven experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Matlab/Simulink, and Office 365.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

Salary: £27.22 per hour + holiday and pension.
