Job Title: Maintenance & Reliability Manager Asset Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance & Reliability Manager Asset Management to join our Housing Maintenance and Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of our housing stock, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and meet the needs of our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of our housing stock, including void properties and disrepair cases.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet the needs of our tenants.
  • Work closely with our Compliance team to ensure that disrepair cases are handled in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Respond to complaints effectively and within set timeframes.
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, including direct employees and contractors.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to support the efficient operation of the service.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators that drive high performance, taking action to address any issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of managing building maintenance works, ideally within the housing sector.
  • Experience of successfully managing an operational team including direct employees and contractors.
  • Experience working with tenants and leaseholders.
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Resourceful, with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience working with KPIs, to targets, and within budgets to deliver an effective, efficient, and cost-effective service.
